I have a German Shepherd/Malamute mix and this is her favorite toy. As dog toys go, this is a great one. A tennis ball that squeaks! I wish I’d thought of it. However, be prepared to buy these in bulk as my dog goes through one in just a couple of days. The construction seems to be less than that of regular tennis balls and after a couple of hours of chewing, the ball will stop squeaking. Then break down altogether. I bought a three pack of them last weekend and my dog has already chewed through one.
This toy would be fantastic if only it were better constructed. Too bad.

I purchased this toy for my Terrier. Before the ball could bounce and be caught in mid-air the squeaker was broken. I figured it was a fluke, so I allowed my Terrier to play with the remaining 2. They all faced the same fate, within a matter of minutes the ball does not squeak. I would not recommend this toy for those Terriers who love to make that nice squeaky sound stop in a hurry.

I love kong, and my dogs love squeakers.
I was super exicted when we found these, and i picked up a three pack. Much to my shagrin all three balls had stopped squeaking in less than an hour, and my border collie cross and cattle dog were a little dissapointed that they no longer worked. They obviously still function as a retrieval toy but its sad that they didnt last longer. Great idea, just needs to be redone to be tougher, especialy coming from a company like kong.

The squeakers in this tennis ball are not very good; all 4 were broken with in a minute. The concept is cool; they just need to make the squeaker stronger.

I run a dog hotel, Barkingham Palace, outside Slidell, LA & average about 25 guests a night. We’re always playing ball w/the chuckit stick & use the Air Kong Squeaker Tennis balls; the dogs LOVE them! They squeak all the way back to me so I can chuck it again. Sometimes the squeaker doesn’t last too long, but the enjoyment they get is tremendous! I even give them out as gifts when guests “check out.”
