i agree that it is good to adopt from a “kill” shelter. but no kills are good as well and often have a bigger selection. and if shelters realize the popularity of nokill shelters, then more and more become no kill shelers. you might say it is better to adopt from lets say a new york shelter than a seattle shelter because of the greater number of dogs in the new york one. but truth is, u are doing a good thing by adopting from any shelter
