My cat tore the tail feathers and ripped the cotton guts out of this thing like it was nothing. These are made to fall apart. That being said, he loved doing it.

Our kitty (no longer a kitten, but not quite a cat) is already a very big part of our family, and is as spoiled as you might expect any youngest sibling to be. That said…despite all of her choices (after about a month of play), the Hartz Fish’N Fun Cat Toy is still played with several times each day. I’m not always good about rating items I buy on Amazon, but I HIGHLY recommend this cat toy!!! I only wish the string were a little longer, but I suspect that it’s shorter for safety reasons…plus that might make it more difficult for our little Sophie to carry away her “kill” (like she so often does).

My cats loved the toy but the thin elastic string broke within minutes. Perhaps they are unaware of the strength and teeth of the average cat? Cheap thrill for the kitties with emphasis on cheap quality.

My kitten had chewed the string apart and ripped the feathers and eyes off within 10 minutes of getting this. I only bought this to get free shipping and despite having many more expensive toys, this is my kittens all time favorite toy. He plays with it every day, even when he has lost interest in the other toys.

This toy seemed like a good idea (and probably is for kittens) but my adult cats thought it was really boring and they refused to play with it at all.
