Our cat loves water. She can play for hours until drenched. Her coat seems to repel water – more like a water bird’s – so much that we call her duck-cat! Maybe in the summer we’ll let her dive somewhere with more water – a kiddy pool or something. If she’ll do it, be sure we’ll post the video! I made myself some Velveeta Mac and Cheese for lunch. I ate about half of it and went into the kitchen to do some stuff for a few minutes. I came back to this… Now, before anyone asks, his ear is messed up because of a hematoma he got years ago and his eye is messed up because he was born with herpes. Cluie has always been a rotten mess. He was exactly what the cat books said NOT to get; hiding under his mother, lethargic, sneezing, dirty ears, runny eyes, etc. He lived on upper respiratory infection meds for the first few months we had him, had to get his ears repeatedly cleaned for mites, and now, ten years later he has UTI and hypothyroidism that he has to take meds for everyday. And yet for all of this, he is the world’s best cat. Even my dad, who hates cats, considers Cluie his best friend. And as a side note, his name is Cluie, short for Inspector Clouseau.
